If you've ever wanted to hang out with one of the most charismatic actors in Hollywood AND make a difference for some deserving kids at the same time, then Chris Pratt has a once in a lifetime opportunity for you! The actor has partnered with Omaze for a sweepstakes benefitting the Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club, in which one lucky winner will get to hang out with Pratt on the set of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" in Atlanta.
The video shows an enthusiastic Pratt giving us glimpses of the awesome "Guardians" set and being hilariously endearing as usual. In addition to learning that Pratt is a pro golf-cart driver and has A LOT of rejected costume ideas (which honestly is probably for the best), Pratt gives us the scoop on what the sweepstakes is really all about.
Fans will be able to donate to the campaign at varying contribution levels, with each level coming with a different "Guardians" themed prize and a correlating number of entries to win the contest. The winner gets flown to Atlanta to tour the "Guardians" set and meet Pratt, but technically everyone who enters is a winner — all the money donated goes to help build an after-school facility for the Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club, which is located in Pratt's hometown of Lake Stevens, Washington. Awesome move, Pratt!
You should definitely take the actor up on his offer because the video itself "already cost 100 million dollars" to make, so it's up to the fans to make it worth it! And don't worry if you haven't had a Walkman since 1992, Pratt's offering a lot of different prizes and is ready to make a difference in the lives of kids in his hometown. From one Guardian to another, though, he needs your help. Get official details on the contest here! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.
