With all the action and violence that audiences love to see in movies, it's not surprising that movie characters die in famous films left and right. While characters often meet their demise in memorable ways, arguably even more memorable are the lines of dialogue uttered right before they're offed. That final line before a movie character pulls the trigger can pack a lot of punch — and now you can watch 100 of the most memorable one-liners all in one place!
In a new video called "100 Greatest One-Liners: Before The Kill," Burger Fiction presents their picks for the greatest lines of movie characters who are just about to kill someone. Their selections are pretty spot on, ranging from everything from older John Wayne westerns to modern day comedies like "The Heat." And you KNOW that Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a few appearances. Check it out below!
We'll also use this opportunity to provide the same disclaimer that Burger Fiction does: "Use these at your own risk. We don’t condone murder." That being said, some incredibly memorable lines of movie dialogue are included here! From "How do you like your ribs?" to "THIS IS SPARTA!" to "You shall not pass!" — the list goes on and on.
My personal favorite is Éowyn's memorable bad-ass moment of slaying the Witch-king of Angmar in "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King." I could watch Miranda Otto saying "I am no man" on a loop all day. So good!
One glaring omission, however, is Mrs. Weasley's memorable killing of Bellatrix in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" — "Not my daughter you BITCH!" I took the liberty of including that gem below, just because.
