A simple smoothie run for New Zealand artist Lorde turned into an unforgettable day for the cashier/fan Emely Paula Medina who served her.

Lorde was prepping for her set at the upcoming Governor's Ball in New York City, when she popped into a smoothie shop and was instantly recognized by the cashier (@ThatEmely), who also happened to post the interaction on twitter...

Not long after, Lorde sent Emely the DM of a lifetime, inviting her to the Governor's Ball "on me". "I was gonna ask u in the store if u wanted to come but I got shy," Lorde wrote.

Medina wrote that she "woke up trying to figure out if last night was a dream or real life".

Not long after, the internet collectively freaks out with jealousy...

In case you were wondering, Emely will be attending the Governor's Ball!
