Louis is like any other gorilla at the Philadelphia Zoo except for one tiny, kind of unsettling thing: He walks upright like a human more often than a gorilla usually would. According to a CBS News video, gorillas are bipedal, which means they can walk upright like humans, but they don't really do it a lot.

Louis has his reasons though, according to the video, he does it because he doesn't want to get his hands dirty. Louis isn't like all those other hillbilly gorillas, dragging their hands through the mud. Louis is a refined and classy gorilla.
