There is no more effective teacher of life's consequences than karma. Two St. Louis teens most definitely learned their lesson in the wee hours of the night in late January.
According to KSDK at around 3 a.m. on January 22, two 15-year-old girls decided to take their aunt's maroon 2006 Chevrolet HHR for a joyride. But their trip took an unfortunate turn just within moments when two armed teenage boys approached the girls in the idle vehicle, opened the doors, and ordered them to get out.
The Riverfront Times reported that when one suspect fired a shot into the air, the girls quickly complied, handed over the keys, and ran as the boys drove away.
If not for the fact that the victims survived the incident without suffering injury, this story would not be as hilarious.
These girls stole a car, only to have it stolen from them in the same night! At this point, I do not believe that we could come up with a more genuine example of the phrase "what goes around comes around."
The investigation is still ongoing. Neither the car nor the suspects have been found.
What do you think? Is this the funniest story of troubled juveniles getting their just desserts you ever heard, or does it only make you weep for America's youth?
