Expectation vs. Reality

With the new Halloween film out in theaters, it is easy to tell what the costume many horror fans would be vying for this year. Redditor u/Kana-Boon is one said Michael Myers wannabe (in the less dangerous sense).

He thought that he had found the perfect mask to complete his outfit, which appeared to be based off of the worn mask design from David Gordon Green's new film, on Wish.com. What he received turned out to be a particularly frightening result, albeit a frustratingly disappointing one.

He adds to the Reddit post on which the above photo comes from, "Never buying from Wish.com again."

While die-hard Michael Myers may agree, several other Redditors found his purchase to be a success, when considering the creepiness.

"You got a scary mask. What's the problem?" asked u/ButterBeam123.

One Redditor even compared the design to a certain British actor, without using his actual name, however.

"Looks like Brimblebutch Crimpysnitch," said meezer_donut.

We sympathize with u/Kana-Boon for what must feel like an epic rip-off. Nonetheless, he will have the most striking and memorable "Michael Myers" costume this year.
