In the early hours of December 31, 2018, an Oklahoma man took a trip to the drive-thru of his local Taco Bell for a late night munchies fix at around 1:30 am. After receiving his order, the man looked inside the bag to find that his order was incomplete. He chose to express his dissatisfaction by firing several rounds into the drive-thru window.
What about his order caused him to react so violently to the innocent Taco Bell employees?
"It appears that there was some type of confrontation with an employee through the drive-thru," Sgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department reported. "A man was complaining about not getting enough sauce, or not getting any taco sauce and was very upset."
Any frequent Taco Bell visitor will tell you that the sauce is a key ingredient. What they would not tell you is that it is worth the trouble of pulling out a gun, damaging public property, and endangering innocent lives.
Following his confrontation with the drive-thru attendant, the suspect left his vehicle and came inside the restaurant. According to Knight, "it's unclear exactly what he did," as the employees immediately locked themselves in the restroom upon his entry. After some time, the suspect fled the scene.
Police arrived to find that no one was hurt. Unfortunately, the suspect is still at large and no arrests have been made at this time.
Knight added, "Any time you've got people inside of a business and some person decides, for whatever reason, to fire bullets into that business, makes for a very dangerous situation and we're extremely fortunate that nobody was hurt."
What do you think? Is this overreaction the most insane motive for a public shooting the world has seen yet, or does a person deserve to get their sauce? Let us know in the comments below!
